One of the three demonstration sites of the EcoNSilva project.
This demonstration site focuses on the long-term conversion of stands to selection forest management. Fir, spruce and beech are significantly represented in the stands.
The site makes it possible to evaluate the economic results of stands managed with close-to-nature methods and to compare them with traditional management methods. The project will use available data on management measures carried out, harvesting, costs and revenues. Any missing inventory or survey data must be completed before modelling, or transparently replaced with modelled estimates.
